Maintenance Repairer

FACILITY SERVICES - Woodlawn, OH - Full Time

As the Maintenance Repairer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our facility's operational efficiency and safety. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the physical structure of Goodwill buildings and machinery. Performs repairs and maintenance on all electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Not an entry-level position.

Minimum Requirements:

            Education:  Trade schools or equivalent experience
                               
            Experience:  Three to five years experience.

            Knowledge: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance repair. 
                                 Valid driver’s license.  Able to pass D.O.T. physical

           Tools:  Employee must provide personal essential tools and hand tools (i.e. drills,                              screwdrivers, hammer, etc.)

Essential Duties:  (Includes percent of time on tasks)
(45%)  1.  Maintenance
(75%)  2.  Assist employees (concurrent with other duties)
(40%)  3.  General repair (carpentry, plumbing, painting, inspections, P.M.)
(  5%)  4.  Other duties as assign
 (10%) 6.  Ongoing education/certification.

**Must be able to pass drug test, physical, and random

Periodical Duties:  Pickup and delivery, snow removal

Occasional Duties:  Meeting room/office setup and other duties as assigned.

WORK HOURS & BENEFITS
Full-time, first shift Mon-Fri—6am - 2:30pm with occasional weekends.
Regular hours, no nights or weekends, no on-call.  
Competitive compensation includes a generous retirement package, health, dental, paid sick, and vacation.       

Working Conditions:  (Sitting, Standing, Walking, Overtime, etc.)    

  1. Mostly standing, walking, and driving.
  2. Hard leather shoes to be worn.
  3. Safety equipment when appropriate.
  4. Bending, stooping, lifting to 70 lbs
  5. Flexible schedule for emergencies, etc., from Sunday through Saturday days & evenings.
  6. Climbing.
  7. Jewelry is not permitted to be worn while on the job.
