Our not-for-profit social service organization is seeking a Mailroom Clerk to become a valuable member of our Goodwill team!
The Mailroom Clerk is responsible for processing all incoming and outgoing mail and UPS shipments. Responsibilities include providing customer service to IRS employees for deliveries and providing information relative to USPS and UPS requirements and rates. Maintains reporting of accountable mail, meter activity, and internal documents.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: High school graduate or GED certificate.
EXPERIENCE: Basic office computer skills. Must pass initial drug test and random drug testing. Must pass extensive criminal background check. Previous mail processing preferred. Previous experience working in Customer Service. Lead or Supervisor experience would be most helpful.
KNOWLEDGE: Standard office procedures, keyboard, calculator, postage meters and scales. Knowledge of USPS and UPS requirements and rates. Prior mailroom and customer service experience.
You must be able to pass the Federal Clearance Background Checks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Work Schedule: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm - MON - FRI
Location: Federal Building (550 Main Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202)
