Job Coaching Supervisor

MISSION SERVICES - Cincinnati, OH - Full Time

Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries is a non-profit organization whose motto is “We put people to work”. We were founded in 1916 and are one of the largest providers of rehabilitation services in the State of Ohio. 

We currently have a Supervisory opportunity available for a creative, motivated, and enthusiastic problem solver who would oversee multiple programs directed toward teaching job skills and advocating for individuals with disabilities. The main functions of this position are to support, train, and efficiently utilize job coaches that work side by side with those that we serve in the community. Additionally, this role would also be responsible for maintaining proper county and state documentation and billing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, direct, and manage the quality, documentation, and workloads of community services provided. 
  • Ensure that all goals, measurements, and timelines are met on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis according to department outcomes.
  • Effectively and professionally communicate with Employers, Employees, Family Members, Residential Providers, State and County Level funding sources
  • Evaluate current and future needs of the department’s programs and develop systems that assist in meeting those needs.
  • Create and implement quality training to improve team and employee development in order to provide excellent services.
  • Travel to meeting sites in the Greater Cincinnati area to participate in development and implementation of planned services.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
    • Preferred 4 year degree in a related field
  • Documented 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities
    • 1 year minimum supervision experience required
  • Proficient in computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Must be able to pass criminal, state, and federal background checks as well as DMV checks
  • Must possess reliable transportation and be covered under verifiable auto insurance
  • Strong decision making, time management, and professional communication skills
  • Accommodating with weekly schedules that may vary to include evenings and weekends
